Staff 

In S1- S3 (Broad General Education) learners are supported and challenged to build their skills across the key areas of reading, writing, talking, and listening.  This is done through a range of different topics and literature.

As learners move into the Senior Phase, we offer a broad range of courses to cater for appropriate progression.  We offer National Qualifications in Literacy, English, Media, Scottish Studies, and Journalism.

Details of all tasks completed and materials used are shared in weekly updates on Google Classroom.  Course guides and general resources to support learners in English are also shared.  This ensures that learners, parents/carers and colleagues can all work together to ensure continued progress.

Our close work with the library and the wider community is evidenced through our accreditation as a Gold Reading School by the Scottish Book Trust.
